Risk disclosure

Read this before you launch a coin, fund a maker or deposit BNB. You can lose everything you put in.

§01Memecoins usually go to zero#

Most coins launched on any launchpad lose most or all of their value, often within days. A coin has no backing, no issuer obligation and no floor. A maker does not change that: it cannot hold a price up, and it is not a promise that anyone will buy.

§02Market making can lose money#

A maker buys when the price falls, by design. If the price keeps falling, it keeps buying until its free BNB or one of its limits stops it, and a stop-loss then sells at a loss. Each trade pays Flap’s or PancakeSwap’s fee and the coin’s tax, so a maker can lose money even in a market that goes sideways.

Stop-losses fill at the price the engine finds, which in a fast market can be far under the stop line. Settings that made a profit in one market can lose it in the next. Results shown on this site, including the strategy leaderboard, are each maker’s own and say nothing certain about the future.

§03Custody and hot-wallet risk#

The keys of every maker’s treasury and trading wallets are held, encrypted, by the bnbmakers server, which signs their transactions. Anyone who took over the server and its master key could move every maker’s funds. If the service stopped and its keys and backups were lost, the BNB and tokens in those wallets could not be recovered. bnbmakers is not a bank, and nothing in a maker is insured.

§04Smart-contract and protocol risk#

Every coin here depends on Flap’s contracts (its Portal, VaultPortal, tax tokens, TaxProcessors and Split Vaults) and, after graduation, on PancakeSwap. Any of them could have bugs. Flap’s Portal and VaultPortal are upgradeable, and Flap’s admin roles can re-point where a token’s tax goes. Flap or PancakeSwap could change fees, pause trading or change how tax works, which could stop payouts or trades or change what a maker receives.

The bnbmakers code has not been audited by a third party. Its engine, checks and accounting could be wrong in ways its tests did not catch.

§05RPC, MEV and infrastructure risk#

The engine reads the chain and sends transactions through RPC providers. While they or the server are down, nothing trades: no take-profit, no stop-loss, no payouts. BNB Chain has bots that front-run and sandwich trades; slippage limits bound each trade, but fills can be worse than quoted. The chain itself can be congested or halt.

§06Liquidity risk#

A coin’s market can be thin. Each sell pushes the price down for the next, so liquidating a large position can fetch far less than its value on paper. A tax token’s own tax makes every exit cost more. Withdrawals of capital can wait while positions are sold.

§07Tax and token mechanics#

A coin’s tax rates are fixed at launch for 100 years and cannot be lowered. Tax income depends entirely on other people trading the coin, which usually fades. Flap’s protocol share is read per token and may differ from the published tiers. After graduation, tax is collected in tokens and sold in batches, so payouts are lumpy and can be delayed.

§08Regulatory and legal risk#

Launching tokens, market making and trading may be restricted or taxed where you live, and rules change. You are responsible for knowing and following the law that applies to you, including tax reporting. Access to the service may be limited or ended in some places.

§09Your own wallet#

Your wallet signs your launch, your funding and every approval. Check what you sign. bnbmakers will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. A sign-in or approval is a message, not a transaction; a launch or a deposit is a transaction that spends BNB. If your wallet is compromised, so are the makers it owns.

§10No promises#

Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a promise of returns. Points have no cash value. Only put in BNB you can afford to lose. Read the trust model and the terms of use.
